Alligator Mittens

This morning as we were trying to get out the door...

Aiden: Mommy, I need my mittens before I go out?
Mommy: Yes you do
Aiden: Daddy, See I need my mittens
Daddy: I know, where are they?
Aiden: I don't know!
Mommy: Aiden, where did you leave your mittens?
Aiden: I want my alligator mittens.
Mommy: Your alligator mittens????
Aiden: Ya, Alligators are mittens too!

Just in case you are wondering...we later found out that his alligator mittens are a yellow pair of knit mittens -they look NOTHING like an alligator!
